Brydi Frances, an Australian actress classically trained in New York, London, and Melbourne, shines on stage and screen. She believes the best way to approach any character is to dive in fully, immerse yourself in the script, the character's life, and the world the writer has created. As a professionally trained dancer with a background in musical theatre, Brydi brings a somatic, body-based approach to all her roles and has established a strong work ethic and stamina for rigorous schedules. She is passionate about bringing strong characters to life and demonstrates depth and complexity in her characterization of women. Her experience in front of and behind the camera makes her a well-rounded, easy-to-work-with actress whose reliability and professionalism precede her.

She is known for her work on numerous short films, including “The Trebek Technique” and award-winning “Salt in Wounds,” and for her performance as Constable Matilda Jackson on the Australian soap opera Neighbours. Her most recent work includes her starring role as Dhelward in the feature film A Little Resistance (2025). Brydi has written, directed, and produced the short films “Night Shift”, “When I Grow Up”, “To Procrastinate”, and “Sunflowers”. Additionally, she has worked in the assistant directors department on shows such as  Apple TV’s “Shantaram”,  Netflix’s “Surviving Summer”, and AMC’s “New Gold Mountain”.
